Heather Gandhi was always into learning and sports. She started playing soccer when she was 6 years old, started skiing at 8 years old, and fell in love with field hockey her freshman year of high school. She also loves extreme sports like snowboarding, surfing, and wakeboarding. Heather lived a very active lifestyle in Huntington Beach, California where she grew up with her parents and 3 older siblings. Her favorite subjects in school were math and English. Since her favorite subject was English, she always wanted to be an author someday. After her recent manic episode, she found something she was very passionate about sharing and writing about, which was her bipolar journey. Hoping that her own personal journey can inspire others to still be happy and successful, despite having a mental illness.

After finding stability, Heather also found the love of her life. She got married in 2021 and is loving married life. Her and her husband love to travel together, so far they have been to Mexico, Canada, India, Dubai, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Thailand. They plan on going on more trips and seeing the world together. They also have a furbaby named Brad Kitt. He is the perfect addition to their little family. Heather is enjoying life and glad she was able to overcome her mental health issues.

One of Heather’s dream jobs is to become a motivation speaker. She is currently an accountant, but always wanted to inspire others. She says: “I’ve been through challenging times that taught me the importance of staying hopeful and finding happiness, even in difficult situations. My journey has shown me the power of words and encouragement to transform lives, just as they did for me. Being a motivational speaker is my dream because I believe I can help others see their potential, overcome obstacles, and live happier, more fulfilled lives. Spreading positivity and sharing stories of resilience allows me to connect with people and remind them that no matter how tough life gets, hope is always within reach. I feel fulfilled when I can inspire others to keep going, knowing that my message could change someone’s day or even their life.”
